Hailing from sunny Santa Barbara, Jonathan constantly challenges himself with downhill trails, always seeking new heights and pushing his limits. As an avid rider, he has gained a deep understanding of the mountain biking community and the intricacies of the sport.

Through Bicycle Odyssey, Jonathan shares his extensive knowledge, providing valuable insights and guidance to riders of all levels.

When he’s not out blazing trails, Jonathan immerses himself in the vibrant mountain biking community, collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations. His dedication to the sport is evident in his relentless pursuit of adventure and his commitment to sharing the joy of mountain biking with others.

Brenton Barker - Bicycle Odyssey
Professional Mountain Biker

Meet Brenton, an Australian with over 20 years of experience working with professional athletes who have won over 15 international events.

He has a degree in Sports Coaching and has previously served as the Head Advisor to the Japanese Government Sports Institute and the Manager & Head Coach to Australia’s Governing Sporting Body. Since 2010, he has been a Dunlop International Advisory Board Member and held teaching positions at Japanese universities.

Brenton specializes in a range of areas, including Technical Analysis, Goal Setting, Injury Prevention and Recovery Protocols, Leadership, Motivation Modalities, and Program Design and Delivery. Currently, he consults with multiple professional athletes and international sporting organizations.
